Glendale Painting Scaffolding

Spanning Five Decades and Two Generations

Founded in 1985, Glendale Painting Corporation is a family-owned company based in the Tampa Bay area and serving clients throughout Florida. Rick and Kevin Sendker have built the company around a straightforward principle: “Take care of the customer and everything else will take care of itself.”

That approach has earned Glendale lasting relationships, repeat business, and referrals from customers who value dependable service and quality workmanship. From major restoration projects to everyday maintenance requests, we understand that how we treat our customers matters as much as the finished work.

Glendale’s second generation is helping lead the company today, with Rick’s son, Chris, working alongside Rick and Kevin to strengthen relationships and carry the family’s commitment forward.

Our Employees. Our Standards. Our Responsibility.

When you hire Glendale, you get Glendale. The people performing your work are our own employees—not subcontracted painting crews or workers paid by the piece.

That distinction matters. With piece-rate work, earnings depend on how quickly a crew completes its assignment and moves to the next. Our employees work under Glendale’s supervision and to Glendale’s standards, with preparation, attention to detail, and proper application guiding the work.

We set the schedule, direct the crews, and remain accountable for the results. We understand deadlines, but meeting them should come through sound planning and coordination—not shortcuts in workmanship.

Many of our employees have spent decades with Glendale. They know our expectations, take pride in their work, and help carry those standards from one project to the next. For our customers, that means a consistent team and a clear line of responsibility throughout the job.

Glendale is bonded and insured, with payment and performance bonds available upon request.

Our crews understand that a jobsite may also be someone’s home or workplace. Professional appearance, courteous conduct, and respect for residents and daily operations are part of the job.

Our responsibility doesn’t end when the project is complete. Glendale provides a warranty on our work, and customers have a direct point of contact if a concern arises. We stand behind our workmanship and remain available to review and address issues after the job is finished.

Repainting & Restoration

Restoring a property takes more than a fresh coat of paint. It requires understanding why surfaces and materials have deteriorated, preparing them correctly, and selecting repairs and coatings suited to the building.

Glendale has painted and waterproofed hundreds of communities encompassing more than 300,000 residential units. Our restoration work also includes replacing tens of thousands of cubic feet of concrete and hundreds of thousands of square feet of stucco.

That extensive project history supports a broad range of services: repainting, waterproofing, deck restoration and coatings, concrete remediation, and stucco repair and installation. Our capabilities also extend to carpentry repairs, welding, and steel and aluminum railing replacement.

As both a painting contractor and general contractor, Glendale can coordinate the related work a restoration project requires. We understand the care involved in working around residents, customers, and active businesses, and the importance of keeping owners, managers, and engineers informed.

Commercial & Industrial

Glendale has completed painting and coating projects in commercial and industrial facilities—including warehouses—encompassing more than 40 million square feet of floor space. Our work serves property owners and managers responsible for maintaining and protecting these buildings.

Glendale serves commercial and industrial properties with painting, protective coatings, industrial floor sealants and coatings, and ongoing maintenance. Our new construction work today focuses on commercial buildings and industrial warehouses, with services that also include wallcoverings, specialty wall finishes, sealants, and texture coatings.

Long-term service means being responsive between major projects, too. A rusting dock leveler or a replacement personnel door may be a small assignment, but it still matters to the property manager responsible for it. We value those calls and the relationships behind them.
